Anticoagulation (Warfarin) clinic

Patients on Warfarin are monitored by the practice nurse in the surgery.  The clinic is held on a Wednesday morning.

Regular clinics to improve the health of patients with asthma. 

Diabetes Clinic

To ensure optimum control of diabetes to minimise the risk of complications. 

Health Screening and Coronary Prevention                                        

We carry out an active policy of coronary prevention.  The practice nurse is available to assess risk factors and advise on heart disease.

For continuing care during pregnancy and after the baby is born. 

Baby and Child Health Clinic

To monitor the growth and development of pre-school children. 

Immunisation

We advise this for every child in the practice.  These are done by an Immunisation Team.  Appointments will be sent directly from the Immunisation Clinic.  The telephone contact number is 01786454599.

Well Women Clinic

To check weight, blood pressure, urine for cervical smears and general health advice. 

Well Person Clinic

For routine testing of height, weight, blood pressure, urinanalysis and assessment of diet, smoking, exercise and lifestyle.

Annual Assessment of the 75s and Over

We offer to see every patient over 75 in the practice annually.  We will offer a visit to housebound patients. 

Patients ages 16 to 74

If you are aged between 16 and 74 and have not had a consultation within the last 3 years you are invited to make an appointment with the practice nurse for a general health check.  Patients aged 75 or over who have not had a consultation for more than 12 months may do the same.
